The 27th Millennium Science Forum

The 27th Millennium Science Forum was held on 14 November 2025 at the British Embassy in Tokyo, Japan. The 27th Sir Martin Wood Prize (2025) was presented to Dr Takamasa Sakai (The University of Tokyo) by the British Ambassador to Japan, Ms. Julia Longbottom. Dr Sakai received this award for his research in Innovation of Gel Science Based on the Creation of Homogeneous Gels.
In addition, we welcomed guest speakers Professor Yasinobu Nakamura(The University of Tokyo) and online, Professor Dame Clare Grey(University of Cambridge). The event at the ambassador's residence was held in a friendly atmosphere.
